Special pads are selected special objects to enable individuals to remain clean and relaxed each month. Normally, they are soft and helpful, and they are used by most people to feel dry and protected. But there’s more to these everyday objects!
Pads are soft, absorbent things that people use to stay clean during their time of the month. They come in various sizes and can fit in a backpack or purse. They are available at most stores, such as grocery stores and pharmacies. Tampons can then be disposed of, which is simple, but pads are even simpler.
They are typically made of soft materials such as cotton and plastic. In particular, they have special layers that help absorb liquid and keep people feeling clean and dry. Some have sticky bits that help them stick, and they come in a variety of sizes based on needs.
Pads are made out of plastic and other materials that take forever to break down. When we put them in the trash, they end up in large garbage places called landfills. These pads can sit in these landfills for hundreds of years! That means they produce a tremendous amount of waste. And they’re also packaged in plastic wrappers, creating even more garbage.
New Lesson: Some pads have chemicals that may not be the healthiest for our bodies. These chemicals may sometimes cause itchy skin or small rashes. We have smart scientists and doctors constantly trying to come up with newer options that are safer and more comfortable to use that one can use pads.
By intentionally choosing what we use, we can be good stewards for our planet. Opting for pads that are beneficial to the earth is a wonderful way to care for ourselves and our planet. Each little decision we make might make the world a little better for all!
This is a good knowledge that we should have about the tools we use every day. Understanding how our decisions impact the Earth can lead to better decisions. Speaking with adults, reading books, and asking questions will help us learn more about properly caring for ourselves and our planet.
